Abstract:

An investigation into the removal of carbon monoxide from water-gas" hydrogen by differential oxidation, with especial reference to the preparation of hydrogen for use in ammonia synthesis.

Notes:

In 1977 it was noted that Master's thesis 18 and 34, by C. W. Griffin and H. E. Shiver, respectively, were identical in every respect except the author's name on the front cover. (The typing of the thesis statement inside differs also.) It is probable that there was a mistake in binding and that the thesis of one of the men was lost long before the books recieved their present cataloging in 1951. A search has failed to turn up any record that would resolve the question. --Mike Bernhard, Cataloger, 6-6-78.
