Abstract
The Friedman two-way analysis of variance and the one factor additive model repeated measures analysis of variance were applied to Monte-Carlo generated data in order explicate trends in relative power efficiency for the two tests under small sample cases.
It was concluded that the Friedman test is a viable alternative to the repeated measures analysis of variance additive model. The Friedman test was found to be similar to the repeated measures analysis of variance additive model in terms of power and relative power efficiency across all variable values considered in this study.
