Abstract
The study of free, and more generally, right-angled Artin subgroups of mapping class groups has a long history in geometric group theory. The goal of this thesis is to present a general embedding theorem for such subgroups by combining ideas from Koberda and Clay-Leininger-Mangahas in a unified way, via the hierarchical structure of curve graphs as laid out by Masur-Minsky.
