Abstract:
A presentation of the documentary evidence currently available regarding the architecture of Teviotdale, Columbia County, New York as it was conceived and "improved" during the structure's first quarter-century of existence; and a sketch of the life and style of Walter Livingston, the gentleman who conceived and built Teviotdale, and whose own historical role and style of life gives context and basis for the architecture of Teviotdale.
