Abstract:
In this survey of Little Stony Creek, the purpose is to discover what correlation, if any, exists between the chemical and thermal conditions of the water and the number and kinds of invertebrates present, with special emphasis on those forms which might serve as food for fish. Another purpose is to ascertain the extent to which pollution has occurred in the lower reaches of the stream after it has passed for some distance through an area populated by man.
