Abstract
SCOPE
An analysis of the legal efforts of Americans, unwilling to fight for their country for reasons of conscience and other reasons, to avoid military service by use of the writ of <i>habeas corpus</i>, devoting particular emphasis to the vacillating limits of judicial review of military actions and the changing concepts in defining and dealing with conscientious objection.
