Abstract:
Lauren Schmidt presents her Distinguished Major Violin Recital on Saturday, March 26 at 3:30PM in Old Cabell Hall. She will perform the Sonata for Piano and Violin in C Sharp Minor, Op. 21, by Ernst von Dohnányi, the Duo for Violin and Cello, Op. 7, by Zoltán Kodály, and the Sonata No. 2 for Violin and Piano, Sz. 76, by Béla Bartók. She will be accompanied by Jeremy Thompson on piano for the Dohnányi, by Chris Fox on cello for the Kodály, and by John Mayhood on piano for the Bartók.
