The Holding Power of the Four Accredited High Schools of Nelson County, Virginia, 1932-1938

This study attempts to ascertain specific reasons why students dropped out of school and what they did after leaving. Included in the study is those students who graduated in 1936 in regard to the percent attending advanced schools, their record in college, and the percent who obtained positions after graduating.
