Abstract
This thesis paper contains a technical paper detailing a year-long project about the creation of a single-axis solar tracker, complete with electronic and power-storage components. This paper also contains a research paper about a nearly-successful attempt to integrate solar technology with aviation, which analyzes the factors that led to its success through socio-technical frameworks.
