Abstract
This thesis describes the structure and petrography of the Rockfish Conglomerate and also of the associated igneous and metamorphic rocks. The formation is mapped and its origin explained. The metamorphism of the Rockfish and the alteration of the igneous contacts are described in detail with thin-section studies. Also included is a discussion of the geologic history and economic resources.
