Abstract
SCOPE
An examination of the legal status of the soldier developing religious or philosophical beliefs antithetical to continued active military service and a critical analysis of the current Department of Defense policy towards and procedures for processing of the individual in-service conscientious objector's request for discharge with a remedial proposal designed to remedy the defects therein.
