Abstract:
Notetaking is a core part of learning and education. However, traditional notetaking methods can leave much to be desired when it comes to notetaking in computer science subjects. This project consists of a technical portion that details the development of an annotation application for grading papers along with a research portion that looks into notetaking applications in computer science and their connection with different notetaking strategies and theories of learning in computer science education to try and begin to address how computer science education can be improved through improvement of notetaking methods.
