Abstract:

There is a lot to say about funding NASA. The primary thing to say however is the fact
that we live in a society. Like a society, we function, based off of what people want and need.
This is dependent as technology helps to shape the future of the society that we live in. As I said
previously. We really do live in a society. One in which people function and work together and
do things for one another. In order for society to function we need money. Money is how we
determine what has value in society, and how we exchange goods and services. It is crucial for
an economy to function. Since we live in a society. We formed a government for oversight and
to regulate everything. Some people think the government is bad and unjustly steals people’s
hard-earned money away in the form of taxes. Some other people think this is good because it
means the government can spend money on things it deems “important”. One of the things the
government likes to spend money and resources on is space travel in the form on funding NASA.
NASA helps to learn new science about our world and outer space. They help us to explore the
universe and the unknown and learn more about the cosmos. There is a lot of good that comes
from NASA and funding it. Our tax payer dollars are well spent on funding NASA.
